FAQ
What people ask us every day
Straight answers, no fine print. If your question is not here, talk to us on WhatsApp or book the free assessment and we will explain everything.
Bookings and assessments
How do I book my first appointment?
You can book your free assessment directly on Fresha, by WhatsApp or by phone. The assessment is obligation-free and takes ten to fifteen minutes. You do not need to decide anything before you arrive.
Does the assessment cost anything?
No. The first assessment is free for every treatment. We look at your skin, listen to what you have in mind and explain what the treatment can do in your case. You get a complete plan, with sessions and price, and the decision is always yours to make when you are ready.
How do payments work?
We accept Multibanco, MB WAY and cash. We issue an invoice with your tax number whenever you ask.
Laser hair removal
How many sessions do I need to be hair-free?
Most areas need six to eight sessions, with four to six weeks between them. The exact number depends on your skin type, hair thickness and the area being treated. We tell you at the assessment, before you begin.
Does laser hair removal hurt?
The laser heats the follicle and the sensation varies from person to person. Our equipment cools the skin the instant it fires, which noticeably reduces discomfort. Most clients describe the sensation as a quick, warm snap.
Can I have laser hair removal while pregnant?
We do not do laser during pregnancy or while breastfeeding. The main reason is not safety: it is that it would not work. Hormonal changes grow new hair at the same pace we treat the old. Once your hormones settle, your body is on your side and we keep your assessment and your estimate.
What is the difference between women’s and men’s laser hair removal?
The difference is hair density. Men’s hair is denser and takes longer on the same area, which is why the prices differ. The technology and the principle are the same.
Micropigmentation
How long does eyebrow micropigmentation last?
Between one and two years, depending on your skin type and how you care for it. Oily skin tends to fade sooner. We recommend a yearly touch-up to keep the colour and shape.
Does micropigmentation hurt?
We apply a topical anaesthetic before we start. Most clients only feel the touch of the needle, not pain. During the procedure we can reapply anaesthetic if needed.
Can I approve the design before we start?
Yes, in every technique. We draw it first with a pencil so you can see the proportion and symmetry. Only after you approve do we go in with the pigment. If you do not like the design, we do not go ahead.
HIFU
Does HIFU replace surgery?
No. HIFU (focused ultrasound) stimulates collagen production in the deeper layers of the skin, giving firmness and a gradual lifting effect. The result is natural and progressive, it does not replace plastic surgery.
How many HIFU sessions do I need?
Usually one to two sessions, one to three months apart. The effect is progressive and keeps developing in the months after your treatment.
Facial and body treatments
What is the difference between the facial treatments?
We offer deep skin cleansing (without squeezing spots), intensive hydration, rejuvenation and revitalisation. The choice depends on your skin type and your goal. We tell you at the assessment which one suits you.
What do the body treatments include?
We work from the scalp to body contouring. We offer contouring, firming, cellulite and exfoliation treatments. Each has its own protocol. The free assessment helps you see which one answers what you are looking for.
Massages
What types of massage do you have?
We have relaxing massage, therapeutic massage (to relieve muscle pain), sculpting massage and lymphatic drainage. Each one solves a different problem. If you are not sure which you need, we will tell you at the assessment.
Do I need to bring anything for the massage?
No. We have everything you need at the clinic. Arrive on time and we take care of the rest.
